Compassionate Hart Massage Therapist Heather Hart

Heather Hart LMT RMT

Owner/Therapist/Chronic Pain Specialist/Dora the Explorer

A 2003 Graduate of Great Lakes Institute of Technology, Heather Hart began her career at the Hamot Wellness Center and local salons. Heather’s diversity of talents and profound passion for spiritual wellness has been a tremendous journey for her and a valuable asset for her clients. In 2005 she teamed up with a local chiropractor, which allowed Heather to only deepen and expand her horizons and gave her the opportunity to learn how to work with clients that had specific soft tissue dysfunctions and focused her work more on alleviating pain and correcting muscle imbalances. In May of 2010, she launched her own practice, A Compassionate Hart Massage Therapy.

This led Heather to explore some other modalities to add to her practice and in fall of 2011 she received her Reiki Master Teacher Certification in the field of Energy Medicine. Her mission is to help clients attain a true Mind/Body/Spiritual connection and to live more consciously and comfortably within their bodies. Through massage and relaxation, her clients embark upon a journey of inner discovery and deep healing where they become aware of their physical/mental/spiritual imbalances, and learn to live a more healthy and vivacious life.

Heather’s journey with Massage also led her to dedicate 6 years to the patients of Great Lakes Home Hospice, where she found some of the most rewarding work thus far. With the launching of her own practice in 2010, she is specializing in working with the Hospice and Elderly. Within the past couple of years Heather has been exploring many aspects of her own personal life. Expanding and growing continuously, she has find a deep passion for working with her dog, Brewster, to become a Therapy Dog.

In the winter of 2011 she also started taking Free Movement Dance lessons, which has only enhanced her skills as a practitioner. Along with taking Horseback Riding lessons, learning Archery, taking cooking classes and volunteering at the Erie Playhouse to learn more about theatre. Heather’s passion to live life to the fullest spills in to her work and brings you a unique experience every time you are on her table. She is honored and privileged to offer you her skills, passion and energy to enhance not only yours but her day as well!
